Mission

The mission of PROPEL is to increase the number of life sciences start-ups in Illinois and to boost the success rates of existing companies.

At iBIO, we champion the life sciences in Illinois and the surrounding Midwest. With leaders from business, academia, and politics, iBIO promotes the development and retention of new companies as well as corporate expansion. We also advocate sensible public policy at the local, state, and federal levels.

Our mission is to strengthen the leadership position of Illinois and the Midwest as a globally recognized life sciences center, a great place to do business, and a great place to start businesses involving advanced technologies.

We thereby create new jobs, wealth, and excitement. And we contribute to the well-being of people worldwide through medical, agricultural, industrial, and environmental applications.

The mission of the iBIO Institute is to provide education, training, and research to members of the business and educational communities and to the general public. Our goal is to help create a globally recognized biotechnology center in Chicago, Illinois and the surrounding Midwest region. Our educational programs support development of healthcare, agricultural, industrial, and environmental breakthroughs.
