Join PROPEL for this opportunity to consider both non-dilutive and dilutive fundraising options beyond the VC/angel route and SBIR/STTR grants. Angel and VC funding can be difficult to receive when you are early stage and/or pre-proof of concept and SBIR/STTR grants are only one option.

This workshop will explore alternative sources of funding for life sciences startups, including patient advocacy groups, private foundations and other options. We’ll discuss how to research and connect with these groups, what to pitch and when. We’ll also hear from an entrepreneur with success in this type of fundraising.

Panelists will include:

Rich Gengler, Prevail Health Systems
Mark Germano, American Heart Association and American Stroke Association
Others invited

Registration is $15. For questions, contact Monique Velasquez at mvelasquez@ibio.org or 312.422.1111x6.
